Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Celebrated Yoga teachers Ravi Singh & Ana Brett have produced this (user-friendly, conveniently chaptered to fit any schedule) 60 minute Kundalini Yoga DVD to give you a complete workout and guide you towards your Ultimate Stretch! Ana & Ravi's Kundalini Yoga DVD's are an all-in-one yoga system. They are designed to bring balance to your mind, health, and emotions, and imbue your life with inspiration and fearlessness. A flexible body is a youthful body. In some cultures age is not measured chronologically, but by the flexibility of one's spine. Flexibility enhances the energy flow in the body. When energy flows our life flows in new and surprising ways. For instance, when we free up our hips, we free up our possibilities and we can move forward in life, towards fulfillment. This DVD begins with a warm-up followed by an invigorating all encompassing workout, deep healing relaxation and a moving meditation to leave you blissful. This program has been updated with new commentary and the Matrix Menu Option, which gives you the ability to pre-program your workout. No more fumbling with the remote to get the workout you want! This DVD features superb production values and an inspiring soundtrack.

5 out of 5 stars terrific for beginners or intermediates   January 2, 2009

I am new to yoga and have purchased several yoga dvds..this one is definately the best. I purchased this particular dvd because I was looking for one that would really stretch my overly tight hamstrings. This dvd does that and more. It was very easy to follow and flows easily from one move to the next, in fact, as I did the workout for the first time, it felt too easy...was I mistaken!! I was sore for 5 days after my first workout which tells me this routine really worked my leg muscles. This is by far the best yoga dvd I have tried.

5 out of 5 stars The best mediditation   November 24, 2008

I love kundalini yoga because it isnt so hard to be mindful. But at the same time my body truly craves the tradtional stretching of yoga. This a great combination at both, the mediditation at the end always makes me cry, which can be a little confusing, even so I always look forward to doing it.

5 out of 5 stars Another Winner, great for flexibility   November 8, 2008

Ultimate Stretch is one of my favorite Ravi and Ana dvds. It has some really good upbeat music. The set is plain again, but Ana looks so beautiful so it's easy to overlook the plain set. She does a great job taking us thru the workout with perfect form. It is a good aerobic workout, too. I noticed an improvement in my flexibility. I always feel happy when I'm done. It has my favorite ending meditation, too. I love the song by Wah! It is upbeat and I end up swaying to the music! I end up humming it all day, hope you do, too!

5 out of 5 stars truly an ultimate stretch!   November 4, 2008

This is one of the first DVD's I bought from Ravi & Ana, I still think it is one of the best out of all of them. I was turned onto kundalini yoga from the AM/PM dvd, and wanted to check out some of their other dvds. I usually practice forrest yoga and vinyasa flow, but there is just something about kundalini that makes me feel great after each workout!

This DVD is a good level for everyone. I am a beginning yogi who has been taking classes regularly for a couple months, so I have an idea of how to do these asanas. I would recommend that everyone take a class before trying ANY yoga DVD. It can be frustrating trying to learn from a DVD without anyone around to adjust you. Everyone's body is different, and we are capable and not capable of doing different asanas everyday. Any class, in any tradition of yoga would be good a idea before trying out yoga at home by yourself.

Stretching and breathing is an essential part of yoga, and this DVD covers that. It is the perfect amount of work, not too hard, not too easy. You will feel great after this one. I really enjoyed the music too.

5 out of 5 stars simple the best   November 4, 2008

I have been doing different kinds of yoga for over 20 years. I found Ana & Ravi Kundalini yoga about a year ago and now its the only yoga workout I use. This is the video in my collection that I reach for the most. After I am done working out I feel so at peace and ready to face a work day.
